25th Biennale of Sydney

French presence at the 25th Biennale of Sydney

FACEF is proud to support the presence of French and France-based artists at the 25th Biennale of Sydney (2026), reaffirming its commitment to fostering meaningful cultural exchange and investing in the future of contemporary artistic creation. By championing this project, FACEF strengthens the dialogue between the French and Australian creative sectors.

This edition, titled Rememory, curated by Mrs Hoor Al Qasimi, explores the intersection between memory and history, inviting artists and audiences alike to revisit, reconstruct, and reclaim narratives that have been erased or marginalised.

The Biennale of Sydney is a vital international platform where these works are not only presented within one of the world's leading forums for contemporary art but also celebrated before a diverse and influential audience.

This project aligns with FACEF's commitment to ensure French artistic voices an perspectives are shared with Australian audiences, while fostering reciprocal exchange between both cultures. It offers artists the opportunity to connect, collaborate, creators, academics, collectors and audiences.

The 25th Biennale of Sydney runs from 14 March to 14 June 2026
